First Visit: What to Expect
When you visit with us for the first time, we look forward to the opportunity to get to know you a little better and to learn about your dental health needs. During your initial visit, we will use both a visual exam and digital diagnostics as needed to obtain an in-depth understanding of the condition of your teeth and gums. Dr. Rafat or Dr. Izadi will meet with you to discuss any dental health concerns or cosmetic goals you may have so that we can provide the most personalized care for your needs.
During your exam we also screen for common dental problems and oral disease:
- Tooth decay, cavities
- Gum disease
- Oral cancer
If you need or desire additional dental services we will discuss appropriate treatment options and associated costs for you to consider. We want our patients to be educated on all aspects of their oral health, recommended dental care and expected outcomes so that they can make informed decisions.
